It's been about 2 months since I started SCD -- time for an update.
I've been very faithful to the diet, except for too many diet cokes this past week, and the occasional gorging on cashews or nut-flour muffins!! It gets pretty boring, but the memory of how awful I felt after I ate just about anything before is a HUGE source of motivation. Huge. Especially since my symptoms has dramatically improved.
Expected Consequenses I haven't really lost any weight in a month, but that's OK because I'm building energy and strength!! I am capable of accomplishing so much more in one day that I was before. I can work hard, get some sleep, get up and manage to do it again the next day. Incredible! Such a positive change.
Unexpected Consequenses There's been one surprising reason why I haven't lost weight -- it's shifting, and I'm gaining it in some places. Like, um, my chest. I've always been oddly shaped up top -- what of it there was to shape, anyway! Over the past 2 months, my boobs are noticeably bigger, by nearly a cup if not a whole cup. And no, I'm definitely not pregnant.
Who'd've though? =)
